What is ZaLife?
ZaLife is a project that supports and prepares teenagers for life with its programs and fulfills their desire for more realistic conversations and approaches to life as they grow up. Founder Jernej Picelj and the ZaLife team believe that the future of the world rests on the mindset of young people.
The purpose of the project is to support and educate teenagers for everyday life challenges. In our programs, teenagers are heard, understood and appreciated for who they really are. In addition, the project also aims to support adults to improve their relationship with teenagers.
We collaborate with schools, individuals (teenagers), and their parents. We also collaborate with companies, where we support working parents to improve their relationship with teenagers at home.

WORKSHOP
If you don't know, ask
The workshop is conducted among primary and secondary school students and represents an innovative version of a "mobile counseling center on the field." It takes place directly in the classroom, and its advantage is complete anonymity, enabling students to have honest and open conversations about topics they might not otherwise discuss. The workshop's goal is not to wait for young people to seek support themselves, but for our mentors to reach out to them first, in collaboration with the school.

Legend for life
One of the biggest challenges for parents during adolescence is understanding and connecting with their child. Despite parents' strong desire to support and connect with them, they often don't know how to approach it. This is where we step in, supporting you and your teenagers. Through years of working with teenagers, we've discovered that sometimes they need to talk to someone who isn't directly involved in their lives. The aim of mentorship is to ensure that teenagers are heard and supported in what matters to them.
LECTURE FOR ADULTS
Teenagers 11.0.
Teenagers 11.0. is an interactive lecture for adults, where participants are invited to engage in dialogue and collaboration. The purpose of the lecture is to provide adults with insights gained from working with teenagers, showing who teenagers truly are and what matters to them. This often conflicts with society's standard view of teenagers. Participants of the Teenagers 11.0. lecture gain a better understanding of teenagers, as well as knowledge and tools to support them in the everyday challenges of life with teenagers.
PROGRAM
Za life!
The 'ZA LIFE!' program is the ultimate upgrade of the 'If you don't know, ask' workshop. It is tailored to each class based on the questions asked by students in the initial 'If you don't know, ask' workshop. The program aims to deepen conversations about the topics from the workshop and to teach teenagers responsibility, respectful communication, and leadership.

MENTOR
Jernej Picelj
Jernej Picelj is a husband and father of two remarkable boys. He started doing workshops with Mavrični bojevniki, an organization that supports ADHD kids and in 2023 he created his own independent project ZaLife. Through camps, workshops, and individual mentoring, he has supported more than ten thousand young people and adults from all over Slovenia. He considers his mission to empower people to discover personal freedom and leadership.

Dejan Kocon
Dejan Kocon joined the team in January 2022. He comes with 15 years of experience in sales and 5 years of coaching adults in personal growth programs in an international environment. His philosophy is that we are greater than our circumstances and are responsible for creating and living a fulfilling life.

Domen Bukovec
Domen Bukovec joined the team in June 2022. He has supported the ZaLife project with his technical expertise, having 10 years of experience in this field. He is also a trained mentor who is committed to making each individual realize that he is solely responsible for his own life. His goal is to provide everyone with access to support and knowledge to help them achieve their life vision.

Vanja Škofic
Vanja se je ekipi pridružila v januarju 2023. Izkušnje črpa iz 20 letnega dela v policiji in 4 leta vodenja osebnostnih seminarjev ter coachinga ljudi v mednarodnem prostoru. Predana je temu, da se ljudje povežejo z močjo, ki jo imajo v sebi, da uvidijo, da so kreatorji svojega življenja ter da svobodno in opolnomočeno živijo svoja življenja. Zavzema se za enakopravnost v vseh oblikah, zaščito šibkejših ter oblikovanje sveta, ki deluje za vse.
