This Privacy Policy explains in detail how we use the personal data you provide to us when using the website and when ordering the services offered by www.zalife.eu.
ZaLife ensures the protection of your personal data by acting in accordance with regulations and laws (basis: Act on the Protection of Personal Data ZVOP-1, Official Journal of the RS No. 94/07 and the General EU Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data - GDPR with beginning of use on 4 December 2023.

Personal information is information that identifies you directly or indirectly as an individual, where "indirectly" means in combination with other information, such as your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, identification number, location data, or other identifiers.

If you are merely a visitor to www.zalife.eu, we do not collect your information. If you are a user of ZaLife services (e.g. you have signed up for a mentoring program organized by ZaLife), we also collect other personal information about you that we need to provide the services you have subscribed to. All personal data provided is treated confidentially and is used only for the purpose for which it was provided. ZaLife takes a very serious approach to data security. We apply an appropriate level of protection and have put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative measures to safeguard the data collected against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of personal data, or unauthorized access to personal data that has been transmitted, stored or otherwise processed. Our information security policies and procedures are closely aligned with widely accepted international standards and are regularly reviewed and updated as necessary to comply with our business needs, changes in technology, and regulatory requirements. Access to your personal information is only permitted to staff, service providers who need the information for business reasons ("business need-to-know"), or those who need it to do their job.
In the event of a personal data breach, ZaLife will follow all relevant data breach regulations.
If you have subscribed to a ZaLife service, personal data is collected and processed for the purpose of concluding and performing the contract, i.e. to provide the subscribed services and to inform you of additional details of said services, any changes or additional details.
In the case of an order for a paid service based on tax regulations, we also obtain and process your address and the tax number of legal entities and entrepreneurs in order to issue the invoice correctly.
In the case of subscription to the www.zalajf.si e-newsletter, we process your provided e-mail address and name on the basis of your consent for the purpose of general information about all ZaLife services and summaries of news, articles, and training courses published on the www.zalife.eu website.
You can unsubscribe from receiving newsletters or information about subscribed ZaLife services at any time by clicking on the link in the messages you receive or by emailing us at info@zalife.eu.
ZaLife undertakes not to sell, lend, or otherwise disclose to any third party any information you provide through the website or otherwise, except in the circumstances set out below and unless otherwise prohibited by law.
ZaLife will only disclose your personal data to the specified third parties under the conditions set out below, and ZaLife will ensure that your personal data is processed, protected, and transferred in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Public authorities
We will only disclose your personal data to public authorities where required to do so by national or European Union law. For example, ZaLife will respond to requests from courts, law enforcement authorities, and other public authorities, which may include public authorities of another EU member state.

We also use your personal data for the purposes of possible enforcement, judicial and extrajudicial recovery on the basis of legitimate interest.

Individuals may request from ZaLife access to personal data, rectification, erasure, or restriction of the processing of their personal data, the right to object to processing, and the portability of their personal data.

You have the right to know whether personal data is being processed in relation to you and, if so, access to the personal data and the following information: (a) the purposes of the processing; (b) the types of personal data concerned; (c) the users or categories of user to whom the personal data has been or will be disclosed; (d) the intended retention period of the personal data or, if this is not possible, the criteria used to determine that period; (e) where the personal data is not collected from you, any available information regarding its source.
Right to rectification:
You have the right to have inaccurate personal data relating to you rectified and, taking into account the purposes of the processing, the right to have incomplete personal data completed.

You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured format and the right to transfer that data to another controller where the processing is based on your consent or the processing is carried out by automated means. At your request, where technically feasible, personal data may be transferred directly to another controller.

Where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interest for marketing purposes, you may object to such processing at any time.
Right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner:
If we do not decide on your request within the statutory time limit or if we refuse your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner.
6. Access to and rectification of your personal data and exercise of other rights
As a user of www.zalajf.si or a subscriber of ZaLife services, you have the right to check whether ZaLife processes personal data about you and to access the personal data we hold or process about you (in which case we will provide it to you in the form of a PDF document). You can always request that inaccurate personal data about you be corrected. If you believe that there is no longer a legitimate reason to continue using or processing your personal data, please let us know, but we may not delete certain personal data that we collect under the Value Added Tax Act. You also have the right to restrict the use of your personal data in cases where you contest the accuracy of the personal data, where you consider the processing to be unlawful but do not wish to have it erased, and where the personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose of the processing but is necessary for the establishment of legal claims. In the case of a subscription to the newsletter, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
If you wish to exercise your rights as described above, please send your request in writing by e-mail to info@zalife.eu. The person responsible for your request will reply to you within the statutory time limit of 1 month. In the event of complexity and a large number of requests, we may extend the time limit by up to two additional months, of which you will be informed.
7. Storage
ZaLife stores the personal data it has received from you until you unsubscribe from the newsletter (withdrawal of consent). ZaLife conducts an audit of existing newsletter subscribers once a year and if you have not opened or read any of your newsletters for a long time, we will send you an email to renew your consent (newsletter subscription) with a 14-day deadline, otherwise, we will delete your personal data and stop sending you newsletters.
ZaLife will retain the data relating to the services provided for one month after the service has been terminated. After that time, we delete it, unless otherwise provided by law. For example, under the provisions of the tax regulations, ZaLife is obliged to keep invoices containing the personal data of the subscriber of ZaLife services for 10 years after the service has been provided.
ZaLife will also not delete the data that it needs to provide proof that it has deleted a person's data (the so-called audit trail) and to keep records of persons who do not want to be contacted by ZaLife in the future. This information includes email address and first and last name.
8. Change to the Privacy Policy
ZaLife reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change its privacy policy and to update and amend this Privacy Policy at any time. You are therefore advised to review this Privacy Policy regularly. ZaLife will notify you of changes to this Privacy Policy by email only if there are material changes affecting the processing of personal data.
